MATERIAL

The film Material takes the analytical position to “things” that looks at the very difference from things, namely images.

In four chapters, wood and what comes out of it, is treated in several “states of mediation”. Material, in this film, is both image and stuff, that is rewritten, encoded, metabolised, translated. Adding to that starting point come timeline, movement, sound, music and memory.

Natur Urban (2017)

Biology of Art (2018)
